After a solid World Water Ski Racing Championships campaign with a second place in the F2 Men’s category, Team Weaver Racing has teamed up with Top Gun Ski Race Team to tackle the Australian Superclass series. Superclass is the top category in the Australian Water Ski Racing circuit.

Superclass is only run at the major river races throughout Australia, including the Sydney Bridge to Bridge Southern 80, Mildura 100, just to name a few. Entrants in Superclass ski behind boats with 1400+ horsepower down tight river circuits such as the Hawkesbury River and the Murray River.

Team Weaver and the Top Gun team have competed in the Grafton Bridge to Bridge, Sydney Bridge to Bridge and the Berri 90 this season, narrowly missing out on a trophy in each event. This weekend the sees the team running in the 2012 Club Marine Southern 80, held in Echuca, Victoria Australia, an 80km race from Torrumbarry to Echuca down the tight winding Murray River. This is one of the biggest and most prestigious ski races in the world seeing competitors travel from across the country and the world to compete.
